Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Little Falls, New York

Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! Work onsite in a supportive environment, collaborating with educators and families to help K-12 students build communication skills for lifelong success. This contract role runs from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027, offering full-time hours Monday through Friday, 7:40am to 3:05pm. The majority of your caseload is elementary and middle school students, with a small group of high schoolers.


Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure or eligibility by start date
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data documentation

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse learners
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services onsite
• Support student engagement and progress toward IEP goals
• Serve as a resource on communication disorders to school staff
