Job Title: Precast Laborer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Precast Laborer to join our team and take responsibility for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, and ensuring a top-class finish with the use of various tools and techniques. The role involves applying stains, waterproofing, and sealants to complete the concrete work, ensuring durability and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Design and build concrete forms.
• Set up forms for concrete pouring.
• Pour concrete and use wire mesh for reinforcement.
• Spread and smooth concrete using trowels and other tools.
• Mold expansion joints and edges.
• Apply stains or colors for finishing touches.
• Apply waterproofing and sealants to protect concrete.
• Monitor concrete to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with general labor, construction, production, and assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings.
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.

• Basic understanding of concrete properties and curing processes (preferred).
• Experience in precast or general construction (preferred but not required).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.

Work Environment

The role requires regular standing, using hands for various tasks, and reaching with arms. It involves frequent walking and occasionally climbing or balancing. Employees may need to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and the work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. Work conditions may involve vibration and high, precarious places, and the noise level is usually very loud.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collegeville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Collegeville,PA.
