Housekeeper - Part-time Location: Sykesville, Maryland About the Role: Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain patient rooms, offices, and common areas, including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, and straightening items
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services to ensure a smooth operation
- Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain work and storage areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary condition
- Perform daily cleaning assignments, including disposing of garbage and maintaining a safe and odor-free facility
- Clean up spills and soiled areas as observed or directed
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to change, and work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to function independently and work effectively with staff and vendors
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
- Environmental Service experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required
- Competitive hourly rate of $16
