Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care nursing to patients in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with patient ratios of 1:3–5
• Titrate pressors and manage hemodynamically complex patients as required
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed in 4-hour blocks during shift
• Complete day-one pass/fail competency testing upon assignment start
• Document and manage patient care using Epic electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated ability to titrate pressors
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to float to multiple units within the facility as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Level 1 trauma center experience (required if no prior travel nursing experience)
