To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliScheduling and coordinating appointments per VHA Directives 1230 and 1232/liliUsing VA systems: VistA, CPRS, CTM, HSRM, PPMS, EPSI, Cisco Call Center, etc./liliValidating and updating patient demographic information/liliProcessing community care consults and integrating records into CPRS/VistA/liliAnswering and responding to phone calls professionally and promptly/liliPerforming appointment tracking, pre/post appointment contacts/liliProviding customer service to patients, families, VA staff, and providers/liliSupporting patient aligned care teams and VetLink check-in systems/liliMonitoring and resolving scheduling issues and patient communications/liliEnsuring compliance with VA scheduling policies and performance standards/liliParticipating in team huddles and maintaining efficient workflow/liliHandling correspondence and updating no-shows and clinic status/liliCompleting mandatory scheduling and compliance training/liliMaintaining privacy, HIPAA, and IT security standards/liliParticipating in quality assurance and performance monitoring/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliCitizen of the United States of America./liliHigh school diploma or GED./liliAbility to speak clearly, hear and write English./liliUtilize computer programs appropriately, usually involving spreadsheets, word processing, etc.; log in; type 50 wpm with minimum errors./liliNo health restrictions affecting job performance./liliBasic medical terminology/liliMinimum 6 months of customer service experience./liliNo sponsorship available/li/ulpAll candidates must be able to:/pulliSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift/liliLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist/liliLift up to 20 lbs/liliCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance/liliPush/pull with 30 lbs of force/li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./p/div
