About the Role
The Company is in search of a President for its Coastal Region, a pivotal role that demands a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record in multi-hospital system leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance of the region, which is characterized by a strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient experience. This leadership position requires the ability to shape and execute regional strategy, ensure operational excellence, and maintain financial stewardship. The President will also be tasked with fostering governance partnerships, and physician and clinical alignment, and leading a high-performing regional team that is deeply integrated with the local communities. The ideal candidate for the President, Coastal Region role at the company will have prior experience as a President, CEO, or COO within a multi-hospital system or defined region, and must demonstrate a strong background in financial leadership, physician engagement, and system integration. Credibility with boards, clinicians, and community stakeholders is essential, as is a leadership style that is grounded in trust, visibility, and values alignment. The role is not just about managing the healthcare facilities but also about being a visible executive presence in the coastal communities, government, and with external partners. The candidate should be prepared to embrace the distinctive lifestyle of the region, which is defined by its natural beauty, close-knit communities, and exceptional quality of life, and be committed to advancing the company's mission while addressing the unique needs of the coastal Maine communities.
