Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: $95,696 - 95,698 per year Requirements:

• Experience with manufacturing assembly, weld processes, and production environments.
• A bachelors degree in engineering, data analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read prints, CMM reports, and measurement data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with salaried and wage personnel.
• Experience with shop-floor documentation, including Sequence of Events, PFMEA, and Operator Methods Sheets.
• Ability to work off shifts and weekends.
• Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
• Experience using MPPlanner for SOE and OMS development.
• Experience with closed-loop corrective action.
• Experience with JDAAT coding and other MES systems, such as SAP and Ignition.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Experience with torque tooling.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View.

• Identify and implement departmental continuous-improvement projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomics.
• Establish process controls, tooling, assembly methods, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations.
• Use SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
• Drive closed-loop corrective action for assembly and weld build issues.

This role offers a typical U.S. base pay rate of $45.95–$45.96 per hour. Non-exempt employees may be eligible for overtime at 1.5 times their base hourly rate for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek, or as required by applicable law. Final pay within the stated range depends on relevant skills, education, and experience.
