UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group is seeking a Part-Time Sonographer to join our dedicated OBGYN team. This role offers the opportunity to provide highquality ultrasound services that support women throughout all stages of their reproductive health journey. You will be part of a collaborative, patientfocused environment where your expertise makes a meaningful difference every day.

Location: Health Innovation Center, Williamsport | UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group | OBGYN Office
Schedule: Part-Time (0.75 FTE) | 30 hours/week | Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours, between 7:30am - 4:00pm
Sign-on Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus with a twoyear work commitment for qualified applicants.

What You'll Do

Perform a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
Communicate professionally and clearly with patients, ensuring they understand procedures and feel at ease throughout the exam.
Assist providers during procedures when ultrasound guidance is required, adhering strictly to universal protocol standards.
Document and code examinations accurately, ensuring proper image storage, labeling, and reporting.
Maintain highlevel disinfection practices for probes and equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
Utilize advanced ultrasound technology and demonstrate proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning techniques.
Integrate patient clinical history, laboratory results, and physical assessment findings to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic value

Qualifications:

Education:
- Completion of a formal Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - registered or registry-eligible preferred.
  - Must obtain RDMS within 12 months of hire.
  - Completion of physics portion of registry preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)
- Act 33 (with renewal)
- Act 34 (with renewal)
- Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal)
