You'll help keep our production equipment, packaging machinery, and facility systems running safely and efficiently.If you're someone who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing what's broken, preventing problems before they happen, and taking pride in keeping a busy operation moving, we'd love to have you on the team.What You'll Be DoingYou'll be one of the people behind the scenes making sure our pizza-making operation keeps hitting it out of the park.Keep Things RunningPerform routine, preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance on production and facility equipment.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and packaging machinery.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and determine effective solutions.Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance calls during production.Disassemble, rebuild, repair, and replace defective parts and components as needed.Make final equipment adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation.Prevent Problems Before They HappenSupport preventative maintenance programs and complete required documentation.Identify potential equipment issues before they become production problems.Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on equipment reliability and performance.Help minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.Put Safety FirstFollow all safety, GMP, food safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Support a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.Partner with Production, Sanitation, and Quality teams to ensure equipment is operating safely and effectively.You're Probably a Great Fit If You...Like figuring out how things work—and how to fix them when they don't.Enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems under pressure.Take pride in doing quality work the right way.Can work independently but know when to call in a teammate.Stay calm when equipment goes down and know how to get to the root of the problem.Like working with your hands and aren't afraid to get into the details.Understand that keeping equipment running is a big part of keeping our people and our pizza moving.What You'll Bring5+ years of related maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.3+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to the component level.Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage electrical systems.Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and basic electrical wiring.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Ability to use a variety of maintenance tools and a personal computer.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and regularly stand, bend, twist, and stoop.Ability to work in a food manufacturing/production environment.Ability to work 2nd shift, with flexibility to support other shifts or emergency maintenance needs when necessary.Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer environments.Why Home Run Inn?We're more than a pizza company—we're a Chicago original with deep family roots and an exciting future ahead.For four generations, we've built our business around people who take pride in what they do.
