Powder Coat Spray Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Powder Coat Spray Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing metal surfaces, applying powder coating finishes, and ensuring high-quality, durable results that meet company and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating spray equipment safely and efficiently

• Apply powder coatings evenly to achieve proper thickness and finish quality

• Monitor and maintain oven temperatures and cure cycles

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and work areas

• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times

• Assist with material handling and loading/unloading parts as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in powder coating, spray painting, or industrial finishing preferred

• Knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Work Environment

Industrial/manufacturing setting. Exposure to heat from curing ovens. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
