Welder Fabricator

Welder Fabricator SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Welder Fabricator for a fabrication company in La Vergne, TN. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18.50-$20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. 1st shift position available! 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator: Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department. Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection. Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations. Perform clerical and labor reporting duties. Maintain a clean and safe work area. May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications of the Welder Fabricator: 3 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred. Blueprint reading Good math skills G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test. Amada and Trumpf Brake experience a plus. Epicor experience a plus.
