Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations that include physical examinations and insightful medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans for each patient
• Provide crucial support in the operating room, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently managing instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge instructions, and educational support for patients and families

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a strong focus on surgical practices is highly desirable

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
