OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Shawnee, KS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Haul continental dry van freight while operating from the Shawnee, KS area, running over-the-road lanes with reliable freight patterns and a driver-first support team.

Daily work and responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailer units safely, comply with DOT/ELD requirements and keep clean driving records.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads and complete required documentation.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and manage on-road issues.

Qualifications & company highlights:

• Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience are required.
• Fleet of late-model trucks (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, dependable in-house maintenance, scheduled home time every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
