Controller

A confidential, growth-oriented investment platform is seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership team in a high-visibility, onsite role based in West Palm Beach. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a hands‑on environment and wants strong upward mobility over time. This role will oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, multi‑entity financial statement preparation, and key finance processes across a complex organizational structure. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable working closely with senior leadership, outside partners, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger, accounting operations, and financial reporting across multiple entities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure timely and accurate close processes, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain a strong internal control environment and support process improvement initiatives Partner with leadership on reporting, financial analysis, and key finance deliverables Support cash flow visibility and forecasting efforts Oversee or coordinate core accounting areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax support Work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate execution Help improve financial systems, workflows, and reporting efficiency Supervise and mentor accounting staff as the team grows Qualifications CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public and/or private environments Strong experience preparing financial statements across multiple entities Experience in a hands‑on accounting leadership role such as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager Strong knowledge of GAAP, close processes, internal controls, and financial reporting Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with leadership and external stakeholders Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through Comfortable operating in an onsite, fast‑paced, evolving environment Why This Role High visibility with leadership Strong long‑term growth potential Broad exposure across accounting, reporting, and operational finance #J-18808-Ljbffr Parcc Associates
