Market Product Pricing Lead

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Market Product Pricing Lead in McLean, VA. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for technology products and solutions
- Translate technical capabilities and product concepts into clear, scalable, and commercially viable offerings
- Establish product pricing metrics, core units, tiers, bundles, add-ons, support levels, and expansion opportunities
- Evaluate pricing models, including fixed-fee, subscription, recurring, usage-based, capacity-based, outcome-based, and hybrid structures
- Determine whether offerings should be positioned as standalone products, accelerators, add-ons, professional services, or components of broader solutions
- Analyze customer segments, use cases, willingness to pay, market demand, and competitive positioning
- Develop pricing models, cost analyses, financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decisions
- Balance customer value, delivery costs, procurement requirements, operational complexity, and profitability objectives
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, finance, contracts, delivery, and operations teams to validate pricing strategies and offering structures
- Support product launches, go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and executive-level recommendations
- Use market research, customer feedback, and commercial performance data to refine pricing strategies over time
- Enterprise product pricing experience within a technology environment
- Experience pricing software and/or hardware products, not just services
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal/Contracts, Finance, and/or Supply Chain
- Hands-on experience with pricing models and analysis, not just high-level strategy
- Experience with systems such as Salesforce CPQ, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERPs
- Strong background in pricing strategy, product packaging, and monetization
- Understanding of the full product sales lifecycle, including GTM, renewals, and upsell
- Senior-level professional who is proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to operate independently
