We are seeking an experienced MD-Staff Systems Expert - Payer Enrollment to support a major enterprise reconfiguration and cleanup effort for a large health system. This role is contract-to-perm preferred , though we are also open to contract-only candidates with the right experience. This position is designed for a truly MD-Staff expert with strong payer enrollment expertise . The immediate focus is helping optimize and clean up payer enrollment workflows within MD-Staff, while improving overall system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and operational consistency across a highly complex enterprise environment. This work will support a large health system spanning approximately 10,000 providers across multiple hospitals and physician groups. What Youll Do Serve as the MD-Staff subject matter expert for payer enrollment workflow optimization and system improvement Lead or support the cleanup, reconfiguration, and standardization of MD-Staff to better support payer enrollment operations Assess current workflows, data structures, system setup, and reporting to identify breakdowns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders across payer enrollment, credentialing, provider data, and medical staff functions Improve system usability, workflow consistency, and data quality across a large multi-entity environment Support enterprise data cleanup, remediation, and governance efforts related to provider and enrollment data Strengthen reporting and operational visibility tied to payer enrollment activity and workflow performance Troubleshoot MD-Staff issues, recommend practical solutions, and support implementation of enhancements Develop training tools, job aids, and best practices to support consistent use of the platform Help establish a stronger long-term MD-Staff foundation for broader provider lifecycle operations Required Qualifications MD-Staff certification At least 3 years of deep hands-on MD-Staff experience , including configuration, workflow optimization, system administration, or advanced platform management Demonstrated experience using MD-Staff to support payer enrollment operations, workflow design, and provider data management Strong understanding of payer enrollment processes and the operational challenges that impact timeliness, quality, and accuracy Experience with system cleanup, process redesign, data standardization, and workflow optimization Ability to assess ambiguous operational problems and translate them into effective system and workflow solutions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across multiple teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, including training and stakeholder support Preferred Qualifications 5-8+ years of payer enrollment experience in a health system, medical group, CVO, or similarly complex healthcare environment Experience in a large, multi-hospital health system Familiarity with credentialing, privileging, provider data governance, and CVO functions NAMSS certification is a plus Why This Role
