Clinical Nurse - Same Day Surgery/PACU

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety and quality compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and communicating care effectively across settings. Candidates should possess a nursing diploma or associate degree, RN licensure, and ideally have at least 2 years of pediatric or surgical experience. Key Responsibilities Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management. Participate in safety initiatives, professional development, and regulatory compliance. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting cultural and individual values. Maintain communication and documentation of care plans and patient progress. Work safely and attentively in a safety-sensitive environment. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate degree; preferred BSN. Licensure: RN certification required.
