What You' ll Do As a Registered Nurse I, you' ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while following hospital standards and unit policies. Responsibilities include: Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care Medical Unit Location Provide nursing care based on each patient' s age, condition, cultural needs, and psychosocial factors Monitor patient condition and progress toward established goals Accurately document assessments, treatments, interventions, and outcomes Educate patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care Coordinate referrals and resources to support successful patient discharge Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Organize and prioritize patient-care responsibilities Exercise appropriate independent clinical judgment Participate in continuing education, in-services, and performance-improvement activities Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, families, coworkers, and hospital leadership What You' ll Need Education Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program Nursing diploma or degree Licensure Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License OR Valid Multi-State/Compact RN License Experience Up to 6 months of related nursing experience New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply Skills for Success Strong patient-care and clinical assessment skills Knowledge of general disease-state management and clinical pathways Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong attention to detail Ability to review and interpret clinical and numerical information Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Group
