Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a professional who can provide acute care for high-risk labor and delivery situations. The ideal candidate will float between units and work some weekend shifts as required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing care for patients during labor and delivery, including those with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations.
• Managing active labor processes, including induction and augmentation of labor.
• Monitoring and responding to maternal emergencies effectively.
• Supporting patients undergoing Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) and Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC).
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety.

Requirements include:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a strong understanding of the related acute care scenarios.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.

This position is located in a short-term acute care facility that also serves as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
