Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an "Emergency Team". There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing the travel contract to take a position, the traveler accepts the above and will report as assigned by the immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. Travelers should not apply for a role if they are not comfortable with the above conditions. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. CT certification (ARRT (CT)) is required. Candidates must have Epic and GE experience. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. If the workday falls on a holiday, it is required to work that holiday. Candidates must have experience in 3D rendering, abdomen studies, and various other CT procedures. The unit provides care for neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 550. The facility requires that candidates have two years of experience in the specialty for all locations. References are not required for submission, but two manager or supervisor references will be needed to obtain clearance. All certifications must be submitted in PDF format. Candidates must ensure all necessary paperwork is up to date and provided during the submission process. Modules are billable and will be completed during the orientation period. Volunteering or being a permanent staff member in the past year may affect eligibility for travel assignments.
