Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Eastland, TX. This travel assignment supports a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting. It commences on 08/03/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a 3x12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The weekly pay range is $1,880 to $2,017, and there are no guaranteed hours for this position.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, with telemetry monitoring as needed
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapies per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry data, recognize changes in patient status, and intervene appropriately
- Document care in the Cerner EMR and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient education
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety standards

Requirements
- Current RN license required for either Texas or compact state at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience: Med Surg/Telemetry experience preferred; ability to work on a nights shift in a hospital setting
- Education: Nursing degree (RN); Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required, BSN preferred
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred or willingness to learn and complete unit-specific orientation
