This role operates with moderate supervision and is expected to complete technical tasks independently while collaborating effectively with IT analysts and business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and support application solutions aligned to business needsWork independently, with minimal direction, to complete assigned technical tasksCollaborate with IT analysts and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely mannerParticipate in system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure code quality, performance, and adherence to development standardsEffectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications3+ years of relevant application development experience OR 1+ year of experience in an Application Developer I roleHands-on experience with one or more relevant platforms/technologies such as:Microsoft development tools.NET frameworksSAP ABAPOr other comparable technologiesDemonstrated ability to complete technical tasks independentlyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to deliver high-quality work in a timely mannerPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldEquivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeExperience working in a collaborative IT/business environmentFamiliarity with enterprise systems and application lifecycle managementWork Environment & ExpectationsOperates under moderate supervisionExpected to manage individual workload and priorities effectivelyRepresents IT professionally when working with internal stakeholdersEssential Utilities, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
