Lead, System Integrator at Capital One McLean, VA

Card Tech Authorizations organization is at a pivotal phase where we are building new capabilities to enable, innovate, secure and scale our platform while continuing to make investments in our existing business critical services. We are actively seeking a senior level System Integrator who will be responsible for upfront discovery, analysis, and solutioning of new initiatives and operations management. As a leader in this tech organization, this individual will be responsible for partnering with Product team/Product Owners and Engineering leaders along with Architects to analyze and help derive solutions. Additionally this individual will be responsible for working with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to help build the muscle on Agile Backlog grooming and co‑lead grooming sessions. You will have the opportunity to tackle complex problems while using your expertise to deliver and support our services. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners vertically and horizontally throughout the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to integrate into a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. General Responsibilities: Manages complex troubleshooting efforts that cross multiple platforms and technical disciplines Strong understanding of the business. Able to quickly understand business needs and translate these needs into technical solutions Implements standard patterns and solutions to increase design and implementation efficiency Recognizes and implements automation opportunities Actively solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements Assimilate information and requirements from a variety of sources into one comprehensive view Very strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal IT, third party vendors, and business partners Learn & analyze complex, interconnected business processes / systems Translate requirements into technical specs for core IT teams to figure out how we are going to reach a solution Manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast‑paced and changing environment Focus on reuse, scalability, resilience and performance of the solution Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with teams to find creative solutions Educate team members (including BSAs, Scrum Masters and Product Owners) on capabilities and constraints of technology platforms Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At least 5 years of experience with systems integration Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years experience with systems integration 3+ years of experience with network protocols, systems administration and application development 3+ years of experience with Agile At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).
