The role requires 36 hours of work per week with every other weekend off. There is an opportunity to pick up extra shifts. Candidates must hold a current state license or a multi-state license. An approved 6-hour suicide training and verification of demographics from Nursys are required. Candidates must also maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. A willingness to float to other departments in rotation is essential. Teamwork is crucial for this role. Knowledge of Meditech is beneficial but not mandatory. This position is located close to beaches and national forests. Requests for time off must be approved and added to the end of the contract. Holiday coverage is required.
