Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Location: West Branch, IA (Preferred) | Hybrid/Travel-Based Role Compensation: $93,000 - $106,000 Base + 10% Annual Bonus Make an Impact Across a Growing National Operations Workforce An industry-leading organization in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support a dynamic, geographically dispersed field operations workforce across the United States. This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with operational leaders and serving as the primary HR advisor for employees working across more than 25 field locations nationwide. The ideal candidate is a strategic business partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships remotely, and can confidently balance leadership coaching with hands-on employee support. Reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, this position offers the opportunity to influence workforce strategy, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business growth within an essential and rapidly evolving industry. What You'll Do As the lead HR partner for a large field operations organization, you will: Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across multiple U.S. locations Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and corrective action Lead complex employee matters including accommodations, leave administration, return-to-work programs, and workers' compensation cases Coach leaders on workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change management Support organizational growth initiatives, restructures, and workforce expansion efforts Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Payroll, and HR Operations teams Analyze workforce trends and provide data-driven recommendations that improve engagement, retention, and performance Support employee lifecycle activities including hiring, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves, and separations Help foster a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies What We're Looking For Required Experience 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Strong HR Business Partner experience supporting multi-state operations Expertise in employee relations, performance management, investigations, and leadership coaching Experience managing leave of absence programs, accommodations, workers' compensation, and complex employee matters Proven ability to influence leaders and operate independently in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance practices Experience supporting distributed or field-based workforces Preferred Backgrounds Candidates from the following industries are especially encouraged to apply: Renewable Energy Utilities Construction Manufacturing Field Services Industrial Operations Transportation & Logistics Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field HR certification preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
