Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) | Atlanta, GA | Start September 7, 2026 | 13-week assignment | $1,598–$1,735 per week | Guaranteed 36 hours per week | Day shift | Hospital setting caring for a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit with a 5–6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and patient status; respond promptly to changes and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and ancillary staff; communicate clearly with patients and families
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards
- Support patient safety, comfort, symptom management, and family education throughout the shift

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit with 12-hour day shifts; no scheduled time off (no RTO) during the assignment
