Job Description Bishop Spencer Place (BSP), a premier non‑profit Life Care retirement community and member of Saint Luke’s Health System, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Skilled Nursing and Memory Care Units. We provide care across all levels of acuity and uphold our mission: “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.” Shift Details Part time and full time opportunities available, with 12‑hour and 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include: Screening walk‑in patients Telephone screening with protocols Medication/injection education Assistance with procedures Cleaning wounds and dressing changes Suctioning Catheter insertion Tracheostomy care Biopsies Diabetic nail care Other duties as assigned Delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) in accordance with demonstrated competencies and scope of practice Covering medical assistant job duties as needed Benefits Medical health plans Tuition reimbursement Leave of Absence, PTO and various welfare plans Retirement contributions Employee Assistance Program Clinical Advancement Program – Shared Governance, Unit Based Project, Career Advancement Job Requirements Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
