Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Sparks, NV at 1311 North McCarran Boulevard, Sparks, NV 89431.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and rotating Saturdays as needed; additional days/hours as neededJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:Nevada state issued laboratory assistant licensePreferred Qualifications:1 year or more experience as a phlebotomistBilingual in English/SpanishAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirementAble to pass a standardized color blindness testStrong communication skills; both written and verbalProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAt Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
