Warehouse Associate - Order Fulfillment | $19/hr | 1st Shift

Location: West Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay: $19.00/hour

Type: Temp-to-Hire


Summary:
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a well-established distribution team. This position plays a key role in assembling, verifying, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other locations.
• Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment via UPS or LTL.
• Process all shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, labeling, and documentation according to customer instructions.
• Verify quantities and descriptions of items against invoices.
• Pack orders into containers and organize shipments according to truck routes.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Steel-toe/work boots required.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and follow directions.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
