Job Description Job Description We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing behavioral health organization providing treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions . You will play a key role in supporting clinical operations across multiple treatment locations within close geographic proximity , allowing for continuity of care without excessive travel. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and substance use disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide medication management , including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications Deliver supportive psychotherapy and clinical interventions as appropriate Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, medical staff, and case managers Participate in treatment planning, case reviews, and care coordination Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and medications Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Provide clinical coverage and support across multiple nearby program locations Qualifications Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Active and unrestricted NP license in the applicable state DEA license (or ability to obtain) Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or dual diagnosis preferred Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Ideal Candidate Experience in residential, detox, or outpatient behavioral health settings Comfortable managing co-occurring psychiatric and substance use cases Organized and able to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple sites Values a holistic, patient-first approach to care Interested in contributing to a growing, quality-driven clinical program Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment What’s Offered Full-time, stable clinical role Competitive compensation Supportive clinical infrastructure Opportunity to work across well-coordinated programs in close proximity Ability to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes Position Environment Collaborative, multidisciplinary setting Focus on evidence-based and individualized treatment approaches
