Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Senior Administrative Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Specialist to provide administrative and operational support in a dynamic federal government environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support day-to-day office operations. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Administrative Specialist will:

• Provide senior-level administrative support to government personnel, leadership, and program teams
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, appointments, and calendars to ensure efficient daily operations
• Prepare, review, and maintain correspondence, reports, presentations, and other administrative documentation
• Manage office communications, including emails, telephone inquiries, and information requests.
• Maintain organized records, files, and administrative tracking systems in accordance with established procedures
• Coordinate meetings, logistical arrangements, and other administrative activities as needed.
• Identify and resolve routine to moderately complex administrative issues, exercising sound judgment and discretion
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to develop documents, track information, and support reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and workflow efficiency
• Handle sensitive and classified information in accordance with applicable security protocols

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI/CI Poly required *
• High School Diploma required
• 10+ years of experience in providing administrative support in program and contracts is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with team members
