The assignment is for a duration of 9 weeks. The nurse will work a day shift with 8-hour shifts. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with conscious sedation and airway management is required. The nurse will be responsible for administering conscious sedation, monitoring patients, and managing airway needs. Skills in endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD are necessary. The role involves pre and post procedure care for patients. The nurse will work with a variety of patient demographics, including adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support teams will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse may be required to float as necessary between facilities. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Applicants must provide references covering the past year of experience. This role will include interacting with various medical teams and using specialized equipment. The emphasis on teamwork and communication is paramount for patient care.
