Kitchen Steward

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen while supporting our culinary team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed. Maintain a clean and organized dish room and kitchen work areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and remove trash and recyclables throughout each shift. Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and storage areas. Restock clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and supplies for the kitchen team. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as directed. Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and organizational tasks. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Report equipment maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations. Qualifications Previous dishwasher or utility experience in a restaurant or hotel is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
