LABORATORY TECHNICIAN X-340

Position Overview

Under general supervision, performs Scientist job functions as assigned by management. Assists and supports management by conducting scientific investigations, experiments, and analyses to evaluate materials, waste streams, and operations for regulatory compliance, environmental impact, and other applicable requirements. Work assignments may support one or more functional areas in addition to other duties as assigned.
Functional:

• Conducts a variety of research studies, experiments, investigations, and analyses.
• Assumes a lead role on small to mid-sized research projects as assigned.
• Collaborates with the Science team to provide technical guidance to field project personnel.
• Maintains familiarity with current technical developments in pertinent scientific disciplines.
• Ensures accuracy, completeness, and defensibility of data and work products.
• Provides assigned technical or functional support to team members.
• Performs duties of general to routine complexity in nature.
• Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates the ability to perform work safely in accordance with approved safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Actively participates in Safety Work Groups.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
