As the company continues to expand its operations and facilities, they are seeking a motivated Buyer to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supply chain and procurement activities while gaining exposure to a variety of responsibilities across the organization. Responsibilities Review production schedules, forecasts, and work orders to determine raw material and component requirements. Support purchasing activities to ensure materials are available to meet production demands and customer commitments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives. Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors to achieve the best overall value. Prepare material estimates and customer quotes while maintaining accurate purchasing records. Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and service. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and vendors. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
