Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join the Fabrication Core Quality team onsite in Auburn, Washington. This position is for a Deputy Quality Management Representative (DQMR) (senior quality professional) responsible for supporting and executing the BCA Quality Management System (QMS), setting standards and policies across assigned Fabrication Manufacturing Business Units (MBU), ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements including FAA Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 21. This role acts as a key liaison between engineering, operations, supply chain, and regulatory authorities to sustain product safety, airworthiness, and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources. Lead the maintenance of a compliant Quality Management System and Aerospace Standard (AS9100). Knowledge of regulatory requirements Title 14 CFR Part 21. Support issue resolution, metrics and develop common checklists. Support management reviews. Perform benchmarking of enterprise and industry best practices. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action. Understand the big picture and inter‑relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including anticipating future events and applying principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance. Basic Qualifications 5+ years quality / AS9100 or ISO 9001 or quality processes / Title 14 CFR Part 21. 5+ years experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent organization skills, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous work in aerospace, manufacturing, quality or another highly regulated industry. AS9100 or ISO 9001 internal auditor experience. Experience working on multiple projects. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study. Eligibility and Legal Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required, including U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $125,800 - $170,200. Base pay and variable compensation opportunities are included. Specific programs and options vary by location, date of hire, and collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based upon candidate experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.
