Maintenance Mechanic

Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms minor and major electrical/mechanical repair of processing and support equipment and facility grounds.Performs other duties as assigned.Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements3+ year experience as a maintenance mechanicExperience with air compressors, gear boxes, pumps, valves, hydraulics.Use of hand tools, power toolsHighly organized and detail oriented.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Willingness to work varied hours whenever necessary to achieve the desired results, including call-ins and overtime.Strengths in the following character qualities: dependability, resourcefulness, patience and flexibility.Candidate Preferred Qualifications1+ year experience weldingTechnical School degree, High School Diploma or equivalent.Koppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
