Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, pre-op, and post-op settings across labor and delivery rooms
• Circulate and scrub for OB-GYN surgeries, including gynecological procedures and high-risk deliveries
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support transition nursery and couplet care as needed
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Safely administer high-alert medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Float to post-partum and NICU units based on skill set and unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Must not be a first-time traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with low-risk antepartum care and transition nursery
• Familiarity with cardioversion, defibrillation, and cooling/warming blanket procedures
