Role Summary As a Video Designer at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Video Content team, working alongside creative teams to brainstorm and produce a variety of educational video series, creating title openers, on-screen graphics, and other visual elements before putting their designs to motion. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with all video segment members. Create detailed design themes for educational video series. Create openers, illustrations, and other visuals for short educational videos. Produce and export motion graphics files for use in digital content. Organize motion graphics files on the network so team members can access them and ensure quality control. Meet deadlines. Stay current in graphic design, motion graphics, and video production. Assist the Video Design Supervisor with special tasks or projects as needed. Fulfill acting roles as interests, workloads, casting fit, and opportunities align. Skills and Attributes Proficient in graphic design or motion graphics. Able to learn new computer skills. Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Ability to work well with others in a creative environment. Self‑motivated in developing creative ideas and meeting deadlines. Basic understanding of BJU Press educational philosophy. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design or motion graphics.
