Job Description

Job Summary:
Certified Surgical Scrub Tech with experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is required to support operating rooms with rotating duties, including scrub, circulating, and float responsibilities. This role demands flexibility, weekend and holiday availability, and the ability to adapt to evolving schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring sterile equipment and supplies are ready for surgery.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols throughout surgical procedures.
• Support float coverage, adapting to different surgical teams and specialties as needed.
• Document all intraoperative activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Hold current AHA BLS certification and NBSTSA certification; CNOR preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of surgical technologist experience, including recent large trauma Level 1 cases.
• Possess valid travel experience and the ability to work independently in diverse surgical settings.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic, robotics, general, ENT, plastics, and neuro surgeries.
• Show flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday requirements.
