Village Drug Shop at Advantage, located in Athens, GA, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the care and attention they deserve. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Managing multiple inventories by stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and monitoring expiration dates.
- Providing excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
- Processing prescriptions and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team and other healthcare providers on the patient care team to ensure smooth daily operations.
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all pharmacy regulations.
-Experience with PioneerRx preferred
