Job Summary: Peoria, Illinois Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will provide clinical support in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with care for a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses and procedures while supporting the daily workflow in the cath lab setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 9 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36.0 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated), Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)), ability to read strips, ability to titrate drips occasionally, and willingness to complete a drug screen as required by the facilitys drug-free campus policy. Submission requirements include: last four (4) digits of the clinicians SSN, clinicians middle initial, and requested time off.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in interventional radiology (IR) may be beneficial.
• Additional Information: Cath lab cares for patients with diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure (HF), congenital conditions, TAVR, MITRACLIP, and peripheral conditions. Unit orientation includes 23 shifts. Weeknight call is required (68 call shifts per month, including primary and backup call). Weekend call is required every 67 full weekends (Friday 5:30pm through Monday 6:00am); additional weekend backup shifts may be required as a circulator for emergent cases (24-hour shifts, on average once/month). An Easter backup call shift is required.
