Job Title

Required Skills & Experience: Ability to address and solve both technical and interpersonal problems. Demonstrated communication skills. Ability to use computerized and mechanical equipment efficiently. Ability to Score Studies according to AASM guidelines. Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc. May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or patient care jobs, when the leader takes clinical shifts.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Clinical or patient care experience. Proven ability to supervise others. Available to work the night shift with demonstrated ability to do so. Demonstrated ability to address and solve both technical and interpersonal problems. Demonstrated communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use computerized and mechanical equipment.

Required Education: High School Degree or GED.

Preferred Education: Anatomy courses.

Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers. Current RPSGT/RST or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensed in the state of practice, if required. Specific certifications or skills as required by facility or patient population (i.e. PALS, ACLS, NRP).
