Plant Manager

Our client, in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. As a Plant Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting production, quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Manager

Pay Range: $130,000 - $180,000 + Bonus

Location: Milford, DE (full relocation benefits available)

What's the Job?

Provide strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing departments within the facility.
Oversee production, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, and engineering functions.
Drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Develop and mentor departmental leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and talent pipeline.

What's Needed?

Over 5 years of experience as an area manager, high-level superintendent, or current plant manager in the meat industry, preferably poultry.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong work history with consistent leadership roles and a track record of managing large-scale operations.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
