Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring dependable, hard-working Apartment Make Ready Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities with top apartment management companies. Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred. Job duties include conducting thorough inspections of vacant units and identifying necessary repairs or improvements, performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents, coordinating with the maintenance team and property management to address any issues promptly, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks, and assisting with other property maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications include having your own tools, 1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field, strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques, ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work independently and manage time effectively, physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor, and knowledge of the English language. Must have valid I.D., reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
