Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

From Toms River, NJ you’ll run continental OTR dry-van freight as a solo CDL-A operator with HMD Trucking. The role focuses on safe, on-time long-haul performance supported by a driver-centric operations team.

What you’ll do:

• Execute long-distance dry van hauls across the U.S.
• Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain log accuracy.
• Work with dispatch to manage load assignments and timing.

Key details:

• Competitive pay at 65¢/mi, averages near 2,500 miles weekly, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses.
• Late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, backed by in-house maintenance and biweekly home time.
