Quality Inspector- CWI

Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and layout inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, CMM, etc.)
- Conduct structural steel, weld, and special inspections per customer and quality standards
- Perform NDE inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT) as qualified
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality reports
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and internal audits
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required
- Minimum 2+ years of related inspection experience
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspections
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong math and computer skills
- Valid driver’s license; occasional travel may be required
