Senior Director- Program Execution, Project Management and GTM Readiness

Job Description The Sr. Director, Program Execution, Project Management and GTM Readiness will provide senior leadership for Sage’s global GTM transformation portfolio, establishing the strategy, governance, prioritization, and operating rhythm needed to deliver large-scale, cross-functional programs that drive growth, improve GTM effectiveness, and support sustainable adoption across regions and customer-facing teams. This role will translate GTM transformation priorities into an enterprise-wide execution portfolio and lead a team responsible for taking complex programs from strategy and business case through delivery, adoption, benefits realization, and continuous improvement. The Senior Director will also serve as a key executive partner to the VP, representing the function in governance forums, stakeholder discussions, escalations, and transformation decision-making.Working closely with senior leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Revenue Operations, IT, Finance, Customer Support, and regional teams, this role will align priorities, navigate enterprise-level trade-offs, and ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable business impact. Beyond project delivery, this role will build the governance, operating model, delivery standards, capabilities, and executive visibility needed to scale GTM transformation globally.This is a Hybrid role based on-site 3 days per week.Key Responsibilities Key accountabilities and decision ownership:• Own the global GTM transformation execution portfolioo Set the strategic execution approach for major GTM transformation initiatives, ensuring programs are prioritized, sequenced, resourced, governed, and delivered in alignment with Sage’s growth ambitions and executive priorities.• Lead enterprise-level portfolio governance and prioritizationo Own the intake, prioritization, escalation, and decision-making framework for large cross-functional GTM initiatives, including decisions on portfolio trade-offs, sequencing, resource allocation, dependency management, risk, and readiness.• Act as delegated executive lead for the VP in senior stakeholder forumso Represent the VP in high-level meetings, governance conversations, executive updates, and cross-functional decision forums, providing strategic direction, resolving ambiguity, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across global and regional leadership teams.• Lead and scale a high-performing global execution teamo Build, lead, and develop a team accountable for program execution, portfolio management, GTM readiness, governance, reporting, and operational delivery. Ensure the team has the capability, clarity, capacity, and leadership discipline required to deliver a complex global transformation portfolio.• Set the enterprise delivery standards and operating model for GTM transformationo Define and continuously improve the standards, governance, delivery frameworks, rhythm of business, tooling, reporting, performance measures, and operating mechanisms that enable consistent, repeatable execution at scale• Drive end-to-end delivery of large, complex global GTM programso Provide senior oversight across the full lifecycle of major GTM transformation programs, from business case and planning through execution, readiness, adoption, measurement, and benefits realization. Ensure major initiatives are delivered with clear accountability, integrated change management, and measurable business outcomes.• Own executive risk management, dependency resolution, and transformation readinesso Anticipate and resolve enterprise-level risks, cross-functional dependencies, stakeholder conflicts, and readiness gaps that could impact delivery, adoption, customer outcomes, colleague experience, or revenue execution.• Modernize transformation execution through AI-enabled ways of workingo Embed AI-enabled planning, portfolio reporting, decision support, workflow automation, and insight generation across the GTM transformation operating model to improve speed, transparency, scalability, and business impactQualifications:• Minimum 10 years' experience in enterprise program execution, portfolio management, transformation leadership, business operations, or GTM effectiveness within a large, matrixed, global organization.• Proven experience leading and scaling multi-layered teams responsible for complex program delivery, portfolio governance, readiness, and operational execution.• Demonstrated success owning large, cross-functional transformation portfolios with enterprise-level impact across commercial, customer, operational, and technology stakeholders.• Ability to operate as a senior proxy or delegated executive lead for a VP or equivalent leader in high-stakes stakeholder forums, governance discussions, escalations, and decision-making conversations.• Strong commercial and GTM acumen, with the ability to connect transformation execution to revenue growth, customer outcomes, operational effectiveness, and colleague readiness.• Proven ability to make and influence strategic trade-off decisions across competing priorities, resources, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.• Deep experience building governance frameworks, operating rhythms, executive reporting mechanisms, delivery standards, and performance measures for complex transformation portfolios.• Exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity, shape senior-level narratives, influence without direct authority, and drive alignment across global and regional leaders.• Proven change leadership capability, including readiness planning, adoption management, stakeholder engagement, communication strategy, and benefits realization.• Fluency in AI-enabled ways of working, with proven ability to apply AI to portfolio management, reporting, workflow efficiency, insight generation, and scalable execution.Perks?
