Role - Data Engineer/Database AdminRole OverviewThis role needs to oversee a data lake utilizing a Microsoft SQL Server. They will be responsible for creating queries to integrate a multitude of data sources on a regular basis, working with large amounts of data and optimizing that data for efficient consumption.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee data governance, transformation, analysis and administration of dataNormalize redundant data within legacy systems to improve tracking capabilities and enable reporting through measurable performance metricsDesign and execute complex SQL Queries across multiple databases to perform data validation and ensure data integrityCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and business/product teams to define requirements, manage change requests and support implementation.Skills & AttributesTechnical ExpertiseExtensive experience with SQL, preferably in the context of interfacing with a Microsoft SQL Server.ETL (Extract Transformer Load) familiarity in a working environment.Hands-on experience with data warehouses.Analytical SkillsAbility to work with large datasets, spot trends, and create actionable insights.Proven track record of producing clear, meaningful reports and dashboards.Problem-SolvingExceptional analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.Tool-Specific CompetenciesRequired: SQL, data warehousing experience, ETL (Extract Transformer Load), SQL Server administration Preferred: Python, Powershell, Analysis experience, SQL Development Certification
