For the past 25 years we have specialized in water and wastewater laboratory services. Our modern facility is staffed with highly trained and certified professionals. We are a 100% woman owned company located in Statesville, North Carolina. The Laboratory Tech plays an essential role in implementing complex laboratory support policies and practices while completing documentation and assisting customers. Responsibilities Prepare samples using standard techniques. Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques. Calculate data. Support the analytical testing process by collecting and reviewing samples, preserving samples, completing sample preparation, documenting, and communicating results. Dispose of laboratory materials and samples following established guidelines. Review, complete, and process logs, documents, databases, and other related materials. Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s service to its customers by offering suggestions and participating as an active work‑team member. Promote cooperation by demonstrating courteous behavior when interacting with customers and staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications BS in biology, chemistry, or an equivalent field with 2 years of experience, or HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of lab support experience. Computer proficiency in applications and systems related to the work. Ability to multitask and problem‑solve.
